“Moments” are quick, spontaneous works, drawing on unconscious impulses, examining a limited palette, brush or mark.  “Constructs” come from the formal exercise of contrasting translucent and vaporous forms with solid, hard-edged form.  “Stories” are consciously intended works, which use a broad range of materials and marks to put specific thoughts and feelings into form.
